I have been wondering for a long time about biofuels. They push that a lot the last year. It is the new road to independence from oil, or so they say. Basically it seems a good idea, but if you think it out maybe it is not such a great idea. Food, we all need it, most of us buy almost all of our food. Just about all of it we import. I love bananas and coffee.
Our small farmers are stuck because the rest of the world is in competition. The large corporate farms also have a problem with this. However, if you grow and sell your crop for biofuels you can make a lot more money and the government will give you a subsidy for that also.
That is a good deal, but what about food? It seems to me, that biofuel production will eventually outstrip food production because it is more profitable. This will not lower fuel costs. Anyone that says that is a liar. I remember many years ago that the government promised cheap electricity to everyone with nuclear plants. That never happened, but we paid.
The same with the biofuels, except for the problem with food.
Even more of it will be imported than before and it will ALL cost a lot more. Since the quantity of it will decrease the cost will increase. There is no way around it. So eventually, everyone except the rich will have to make a choice. Do I feed the kids or pay for heat so they will not freeze?
I know, that sounds silly and could never happen. However, look at what has happened over the last 30 years. Think about it. I may be wrong, but it really needs thought out by us instead of leaving that decision to congress and the corporations.

Bleeding America Dry
In our country, different states are arguing about water rights. Corporations and companies use up the water supply and disperse chemicals into it. Farmers need it but they also help destroy it with chemicals. Corporate hog farms dump feces into it.
Our food used to be grown in our own country. Now we import most of it from other countries.
It is the same with other products. We no longer manufacture much of anything of importance. Foreign companies have bought and own most of our plants and operate them but send the money to their country.
Our big companies have moved their plants to other countries to increase their profits. They hire workers very cheap and do not pay any benefits. Then they import these products to our country. Do we see a cheaper price because of this? No, prices never dropped. But corporate earning skyrocketed. They keep increasing the price of these goods, not to compensate for their investments, but to increase their profits and stock increase the value of their stocks. The stock market keeps closing at historical record highs. This benefits the rich, the stockholders, corporations, and foreign investors. However, it is killing the American middle class who have to pay for these profits.
Bush was talking about how good the economy is, how many jobs have been created, and just how hunky dory things are, under his administration.
That is horseshit. We have hungry people in our own country. The rich are richer, but the poor are poorer, and the middle class in struggling to make ends meet while they support the rich.
I am lucky. I work everyday in a profession that I have always loved. I also earn good money; at least to me it is good money. I suppose it would be a joke to some of our politicians. However, I am in debt also and I give up much of it to provide the government their pork and to support these criminals that run things, not to mention all these other countries thatwe bribe.
Recently, bush vetoed a bill to provide healthcare for poor children. Why did he do that? I would be glad that some of the money they steal from me goes to something useful. But immediately after, he promises billions of dollars to Afghanistan.
Our government supports the world. That means that we, the citizen are supporting the world. Bush, congress, corporate America do not support anyone. They take and redistribute. That is all they do.
Food and Water are the great equalizers. Around the world, people in poorer nations realize and fight this problem every day. Some starve and some die of thirst. That is terrible, but it is the way of things. I used to live on Lake Lanier in Georgia in the 1990s. It was very large and very pretty. I loved it. This morning I saw some pictures on TV of it. They are projecting that in 3 months it will be dry. How did that happen?
In the future, I see thirst and hunger spreading worldwide. Hmmm, guess the future is here, we do not see it in America yet as much yet.
What will cause more wars than oil though, is water. Without oil, things would change so drastically; without water, we die quickly.

We do have laws regulating imports. But the corporations have convinced the government from holding off on enforcing them. That is not a guess on my part, it is a fact. I am 57 years old; I survived the 60s, Viet Nam, and my own stupidity. However, I can see that myself and the rest of you will not survive the idiots we have running the government and the corporations that milk us for as much as they thing they can get.
My children and my grandchildren will have to tolerate a level of existence that I never had to experience.
I am sorry kids, I did not know when I was younger, and I do not know what to do now.

Is the United States Doomed?
I should not have turned on the news tonight. In Texas, there is a killer of two girls on death row. He is scheduled for execution. The problem some people see is that he is a Mexican illegal alien. The U.N. world court has said that we cannot do this and bush seems to agree and want to follow the ruling of the world court!??
The world court in my opinion has no say about anything in my country. We are a sovereign nation with our own laws. Once we give those up to the world court or any other international body then we are defunct as a nation. We will be just another member of the U.N., when in fact, it would not exist if not for us.
For bush to support this idea is tantamount to treason. I do not mean a hand slapping treason, but the kind of treason that should put him in a noose.
No matter what the liberals and the corporate world want, we are a separate nation. We are not one of their assets.
Over 200 years ago, we fought a war with Britain for our independence. The constitution was conceived under God to protect the citizens of the United States from a tyrannical government that wants to take our rights and dilute what America means. Since then, thousands of Americans have fought and died for this country and to keep us free. Bush slaps the face of every American that was ever born.
At what point and how far will Americans go to take back our country. Our enemy seems not to be overseas. Our most dangerous enemy is in this country.
One thing is for sure. I do not recognize the world court or any other foreign governing body as any kind of regulating agency in my country. I will not give up guns. I will not be “politically correct” because someone gets upset. I will not cow to Islam. I will not give up the America I know, just because some moron in this country or somewhere else believes they can do better.
I took an oath years ago when I went into the army to defend the constitution of the United States from its’ enemies whether foreign or domestic. There was not any length of time for it nor did I ever take an “unoath”. I took that oath just like thousands of other Americans. In fact, congress and the president took similar oaths, obviously, they did not mean it.
We do not control our borders and have no idea who is coming here, in New York they want to give illegal aliens drivers licenses, the state of Kalifornia seems to believe they know better than anyone else in the country by not following the laws. In the news we have people all over the country arguing and marching for their own special ideal. What all these people do not seem to realize is that our contry itself is in jeapardy. Once that is "reshaped" to fit the mold that many other countries and traitors seem to want, then they will not have the right to protest the way they do.

When will it End?
Four Illinois schools are renaming Halloween and Christmass. They are being named Fall Festival and Winter Festival. LOL Stupid people. Evidently, a muslim was told she could not put up ramadan decorations. The superintendant says they have to be "neutral". But the arabic children are allowed to pray during lunch and different periods through the day. The other children are not allowed to pray.

Veterans Administration, I don't Believe it!
Today in the mail I had some interesting news. I have been jumping through hoops for quite a while with VA Medical. I applied for disability for some problems. The VA doctor said I was the poster boy for PTSD and would get some kind of disability. After filling out all the paperwork and listing things I did not want to remember, I find out today they have decided that I am not "qualified" for any disability. On one hand, I do not mind not getting the money, but it felt like my time did not count for anything. I put in a claim for ptsd, malaria, knife wounds, peptic ulcers, and an eye injury. Everything healed up ok, I have all my body parts; but for over 30 years I have had nightmares (viet vet). So, in this letter, even though THEIR doctor said I had service connected problems, the VA board that decides this stuff said I did not. It does not matter how much blood I saw, how much screaming I listened to, any wounds I recieved, or how many people I saw die or killed myself. I know they are doing the same thing to the Iraq vets. Not in all cases, but in many. I can submit paperwork to review their decision and I will. I do not have any faith in them though. The people that decide who deserves benefits are the same kind of people that believe we can win these types of wars. Most of their "managers" though, I do not believe ever served.
No, I am not bitter, I am disgusted though.
One piece of advice though for any veterans or family of veterans, while it is fresh in their minds, while they remember exactly who they were with and what days different things happened, the vets need to make a logbook or journal for future reference. It may become very important down the road. If they are still in the service, they have to have everything documented by the military doctors and keep copies!

Give up Your Rights
You know, there are a few things that I have taken for granted most of my life.
One is that my individual freedom was secure by the constitution; another is the fact that if I so wished, I could buy and keep any amount of guns I wanted. I don’t really hunt much anymore, but I do like guns. It makes sense to me that guns do not kill people, people do. So I have never seen a problem with them.
However, I have been hearing about this new bill (HR 2640) that the House of representatives has passed. In effect, it removes the right of many, many veterans to own a gun. That is not how they describe it, but that is the way it will work. To make it even worse, The NRA, an organization that we used to trust to keep watch on 2nd amendment rights, has agreed to and supports it.
Reading about this has incensed me so much I have written the NRA, my senators and a few other senators.
By this bill, anyone that has been diagnosed with PTSD, or born with certain personality problems can not own a gun. They plan to give all the medical records and psychological profiles to the FBI. I supposee they will then decide who is good and who is bad.

After reading this, it makes you wonder a hell of a lot about what is going on. I think problems like PTSD are very common and is caused by many different things other than military action. What about a cop? The police have many personal problems just like the rest of us. Will they take guns away from them because they have been trained and have seen violence? A woman that has been abused by her husband could have it also. Will she be banned?
Maybe their basic idea on this bill initially was a good one. However, they have turned it into a monster that will strip rights away from us, the individual, law-biding, taxpaying, voter.
I have a real problem with this. In my opinion, the government does not have a right to curtail what is guaranteed to me by the Constitution and Bill of Rights. That is the main reason these were written in the first place. They were written to protect the rights of the American Citizen from the government itself. Now they are trying to rewrite it all for the benefit of politicians, government, and their “special purpose” lobbyists.
Maybe Islam and the terrorists are not our real enemy? Maybe it is our own government.
Please read the information at the above link, think about it. By trying to scare everyone with terrorism they started homeland "security". They took away our privacy, they can now bust into your house without a warrant, and now they want the guns. If they do get all guns, no one will be able to defend the constitution from her enemies at home and within the government. Terrorism comes in different disguises.

Different Times
I recieved an email with the following opinion. I know I can be as full of crap as anyone else. I know that. But this made me think though, something I do not do enough of probably. lol
The trouble with this email is that I believe the opinion expressed is correct. I do not like Bush or any of those other "leaders" of democracy, but one thing I do believe is that we are in a war, one that cannot be ignored or stopped, or should be stopped. The enemy wants us dead or following mohammad. That is it plain and simple. It is not just a war with terrorists, it is a war with with islam, which I view in the same class as scientology, mormanism, ............ They are dangerous to everyone else though. I just do not like the way it is being done.

President Bush did make a bad mistake in the war on terrorism. But the mistake was not his decision to go to war in Iraq. Bush's mistake came in his belief that this country is the same one his father fought for in WWII. It is not. Back then, they had just come out of a vicious depression. The country was steeled by the hardship of that depression, but they still believed fervently in this country. They knew that the people had elected their leaders,so it was the people's duty to back those leaders. Therefore, when the war broke out the people came together, rallied behind, and stuck with their leaders, whether they had voted for them or not or whether the war was going badly or not. And war was just as distasteful and the anguish just as great then as it is today. Often there were more casualties in one day in WWII than we have had in the entire Iraq war. But that did not matter. The people stuck with the President because it was their patriotic duty. Americans put aside their differences in WWII and worked together to win that war. Everyone from every strata of society, from young to old pitched in. Small children pulled little wagons around to gather scrap metal for the war effort. Grade school students saved their pennies to buy stamps for war bonds to help the effort. Men who were too old or medically 4F lied about their age or condition trying their best to join the military. Women doubled their work to keep things going at home. Harsh rationing of everything from gasoline to soap, to butter was imposed, yet there was very little complaining. You never heard prominent people on the radio belittling the President. Interestingly enough in those days there were no fat cat actors and entertainers who ran off to visit and fawn over dictators of hostile countries and complain to them about our President. Instead, they made upbeat films and entertained our troops to help the troops' morale. And a bunch even enlisted. And imagine this: Teachers in schools actually started the day off with a pledge of allegiance, and with prayers for our country and our troops! Back then, no newspaper would have dared point out certain weak spots in our cities where bombs could be set off to cause the maximum damage. No newspaper would have dared complain about what we were doing to catch spies. A newspaper would have been laughed out of existence if it had complained that German or Japanese soldiers were being "tortured" by being forced to wear women's underwear, or subjected to interrogation by a woman, or being scared by a dog or did not have air conditioning. There were a lot of things different back then. We were not subjected to a constant bombardment of pornography, perversion and promiscuity in movies or on radio. We did not have legions of crack heads, dope pushers and armed gangs roaming our streets. No, President Bush did not make a mistake in his handling of terrorism. He made the mistake of believing that we still had the courage and fortitude of our fathers. He believed that this was still the country that our fathers fought so dearly to preserve. It is not the same country. It is now a cross between Sodom and Gomorra and the land of Oz. We even have the wicked witch of the west as the new Speaker of the House of Representatives. We did unite for a short while after 9/11, but our attitude changed when we found out that defending our country would require some sacrifices. We are in great danger. The terrorist are fanatic Muslims. They believe that it is okay, even their duty, to kill anyone who will not convert to Islam. It has been estimated that about one third or over three hundred million Muslims are sympathetic to the terrorists cause...Hitler and Tojo combined did not have nearly that many potential recruits.We either win it - or lose it - and you ain't gonna like losing.

Oprah bama
It looks like oprah has decided to try to help osama obama get elected. Excuse me. Barak obama., or something like that. I guess she figures that her popularity,. money, and opinion will sway a lot of voters. I hope Americans are smarter than that. I have read articles that obamas' father was a follower of islam. I have read a lot of those. I have also read where he denies it, but I still do not know who is right. Wouldn't it be ironic if all of a sudden our president announced he was a follower of mohammed? (May he rot in hell).
Since I do not follow mohammed or believe in any of his teachings, ( I have read a lot of them over the last few years), then I do not have a problem making fun of him. I have seen some really good pictures also, lol. I have also seen many pictures of Christ and were very unflattering and some that were out and out abusive. However, I am not going to threaten everyone on the planet because of it. All I know for sure is that one group is wrong and one is right. If you believe in God, then one group will end up in Hell. Simple. I just believe they are wrong. Besides, my wife will not let me have more than one, and I have never thought of marrying a 9 year old girl. Of course, I guess that works out well if you want to be the boss in your family. You marry them young, raise them to believe that you are the final authority. Hmmmm, what a concept! That is where I went wrong!
I see that bin laden (may he rot in hell) has announced that one way for peace is for the United States to convert to islam. ROFL The idiot still does not understand who we are. Since I do not follow mohammed or believe in any of his teachings, ( I have read a lot of them over the last few years), then I do not have a problem making fun of him. I have seen some really good pictures also, lol. I have also seen many pictures of Christ and were very unflattering and some that were out and out abusive. However, I am not going to threaten everyone on the planet because of it. All I know for sure is that one group is wrong and one is right. If you believe in God, then one group will end up in Hell. Simple. I just believe they are wrong. Besides, my wife will not let me have more than one, and I have never thought of marrying a 9 year old girl. Of course, I guess that works out well if you want to be the boss in your family. You marry them young, raise them to believe that you are the final authority. Hmmmm, what a concept! That is where I went wrong!

Carribean Cruise
Over my whole life my vacatins have consisted of a weekend camping trip or visiting relatives or something like that. Even when I lived in Germany my sightseeing 3was over weekends.
However, my wife changed that. Somehow, she socked away the money for a carribean cruise without me knowing it. She had to tell me finally about it in order to take vacation time.
It really was great.The first two days were just traveling. We spent these two days swimming and eating and drinking. The only reason we stopped was to sleep. On the third morning I woke up and realized the ship was not moving. We had docked in Montego Bay, Jamaica. So we got ready and yes we ate again, lol. Then went ashore to see Jamaica. We had a blast. We took a tour to Rose Hall. It is an estate where the lady that used to live there killed all her husbands, before her last lover, a slave, killed her. It was really cool.
We had a tour guide was trying to teach us Jamaican slang while we traveled. Yeah Mon. We spent a lot of time shopping and sightseeing and picture taking. We saw LOTS of gorgeous women in bikinis and thongs. Jeanette pointed out a few guys were hot too, lol. I did see a lot of people that should never put on a thong or a speedo, it burns your eyes out. LOL, there was one guy that walked by wearing a speedo. He looked like he was a model. You know, the six pack abs, solid leg and arm muscle….. LOL I think jeanette was drooling, but she wont admit it.
That night after dinner we just kind of crashed. During the night we sailed to the Grand Cayman Islands. We had a problem here. The only way off the ship was by a tender. Jeanette could not climb down to it and we could not get her wheel chair down there either. We decided to skip this one and we spent the day relaxing and swimming and of course eating. By the next morning we were in Cozumel. That is a small Mexican island. We got off there just fine. The water was so clear we could see the bottom of the bay and fish, but they were 50 or 60 feet deep. We did a lot of sightseeing in Cozumel and shopping. I liked it best. We went to the hard rock café, we bought souvenirs and we just wandered around on our own. There is a lot to see there. Jeanette got some good deals.
Then it was Friday night and we started cruising back to Galveston. On Sunday morning we got back to the U.S. lucky as Hell, cruising in between the hurricanes.
We took about 400 pictures and had a really great time. Jeanette had never been out of the country before. It was all new to her, lol.
That was our anniversary, belated honeymoon, and vacation.
Before our cruise, I had made a promise to stop smoking. So, when we left on the cruise I did not have any smokes. It was a good thing that they had so much food and things to do. I am doing pretty well still, but I would kill for a smoke, lol. One thing I did notice yesterday besides coughing up all that crap out of my lungs, I can do a lot more without being out of breath. Crooked Corporations and Government
Over the last few months they have had a lot of problems with imports. Bad dog food, bad people food, toothpaste, chemicals and lead in toys…..
They keep yelling about how bad China is and that is ok with me. They do not have the controls and safety regulations that we do.
Why are they not talking about the manufacturers and importers though?
When I was a kid, anything you got from overseas was considered third rate and cheap. The good stuff was made in USA. However, because of regulations and wages for employees, many companies have moved their factories and plants out of the United States. A good example of this is Mexico. Just across the border are many plants that originally were American Made.
It is the same with the importers. An import and distribution company does not worry about wages or retirement or any of that. They pay a very cheap price overseas.
Is our cost less since items are cheaply bought or made outside the United States? NO, what has happened is that these importers and manufacturers keep the prices as inflated as they can and then they pocket the extra savings. You can see the proof of this just by looking at their yearly returns and the stock market. They have record profits, but they have no responsibility. All the yelling and screaming is about China and how bad they are.
China, who cares!!!!!!!!! I believe the problem and responsibility should sit in the laps of the importers, distributors, and manufacturers. If Disney, or Hasbro, or any of the other large “toy sellers” get their stuff from China (or anywhere else for that matter) then they should be held accountable and responsible.
They are the ones that outsourced the jobs to make more profit, but they still need us as consumers.
Why do the news stations not talk about his part of the problem?
Sometimes I think that the news broadcasters are the best friend of government and corporations. For a few days the major threat is terrorists and they go into it with so many what ifs and whens. Then they shift to immigration and how we are being invaded by that. Then they shift to China and how they can destroy us with bad food. Eventually they start all over. They continually shift the focus back and forth depending on where they get the most viewers or depending on their owner’s ideals. When this happens, a lot of the really important stuff gets overlooked or bypassed. The politicians can just wait for it to “go away” for a while. Take Katrina for example. There was such an outcry at first about repairs for New Orleans and housing and feeding the homeless. Then for months there was nothing. It must have been solved because we heard nothing about it.
Yesterday, I was reading an article in the latest Time magazine about Katrina though. It seems that the Army Corps of Engineers has been doing the same old thing. They replace the things that don’t work with no concept of how to make it better than it was before. All the money appropriated for it is gone, and it is not anywhere near fixed. Someone made a fortune off Katrina, but the inhabitants of the area lost out. Yeah for crooks, politicians, and big business.
Nothing gets solved but new problems and threats are always popping up. The newscasters are happy because they have something “new”. The politicians are happy because they can continue to go along the same old way and the public forgets. Business is happy because they can continue to make money at the expense of the consumer.
It all ends up that way. “At the expense of the consumer”
That is US, we loose.

Stupid Walmart

You know their new system? You give them a check and they print out everything on it and it is instantly approved or rejected? LOL Here is what happened to me
I wrote a check on the 19th of august for $70.28. When I checked my bank, the amount was $170.28. The receipt in my hand is correct. The check that was printed out by walmart was almost unreadable. It looks like there is an extra dollar sign in front of the number. Evidently the bank scanner or whatever they use, saw it as a 1.
It is 6pm. I just spent over two hours trying to deal with this. The lady in customer service told me to come back tomorrow. The check is pending and I am not willing to wait until it clears before I do something about it. The night manager finally gave me a phone number to some financial place for me to call and see what they charged. He told me they were open ALL the time. I called right away. It seems they are only open from 9 to 3 daily. SO he lied or had no idea what he was talking about. I took the phone number down for the district manager off their wall. It turned out to be a walmart in wichita falls and they told me I should talk to the manager here. I told him what I was going to do.
I told my wife to cancel the check completely. When they want their money, I will come down to walmart and pay what I owe, minus the amount for canceling the check.
I do not know how this happened but I do require it to be fixed. The night manage should have been more helpful, but he is a useless dickhead. If there is a problem with their registers printing checks for us then it should be stopped. In the future, I will be filling them out myself.
So if you use this service, be very careful and check.

Disgusting
Recently, I saw on TV that Shawn Penn was visiting chavez in venezuela. They looked like ole buds. Previously, I had seen one with Danny Glover doing the same thing. That sucks. I liked Danny Glovers movies.

Learn from history
Since I was a kid, I was taught that to ignore history is to repeat it.
I do believe this. It is so obvious if you think about it.
People and countries seem to repeat past mistakes.
Even after they were "corrected", they still repeat. An example of this is Korea, Vietnam, Somalia,..., Iraq. How do we stop the narrow-minded leaders that pay no attention to anything except for their own agenda?
The only way I know would be unacceptable to most Americans, We have grown soft and tolerant.
I guess it was only a matter of time, and now the islamics see a chance of furthering their goals.
They are our enemy. Anyone that says they are not has their head buried in the sand.
Their eventual goal, as silly as it seems, is to change the United States and any other country
into an islamic state. There are only two types of islam. One type is outwardly and vocally and violently apposed to our way of life and wants to either kill us or convert us. It states that in their quran.
The other type is calmer and more politically astute. But their goal is the same. They will lie and pretend to be different in order to further their goals. That is acceptable by their "bible".
We are at war, not with islamic terrorists, but with islam.
In America, most people believe you have the right to live and do what you want, as long as you leave people alone that you do not agree with. However, the islamics do not believe that. They believe that their religious responsibility is to spread islam in ANY way they can.
The politically correct attitude in America is one that works well for these enemies. They yell prejudiced, or racial profiling, or religious intolerance and a very many people cringe at this and back off.
We should not be doing that at all. We should be profiling islamics and muslims. I know, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth, but what other way is there?
Oh, I know one way. We take everyone’s guns, open all borders, and stamp an Identity Mark on everyone’s forehead. That way it will be easy. No more rights, no more constitution, just "security".
The choices are not good, I know that, but there are no other choices I can see. I suppose we could talk about it for another 20 years. The islamics would like that.
Hmmmm what will the aclu and other civil rights groups do after they are banned by the islamic government?
Since the beginning of the human race, one group of people after another has supplanted the previous ones. History shows us that time after time this has happened. All through Europe and Asia that is what has happened.
In my own country also. Before us were the Native American Indians, before them were others. Interspersed throughout were Europeans of different nationalities. We have replaced all of them. Some day I expect it may be our turn to move aside.

When we think of anti-Americanism what most people are really thinking of is anti-united states.
The United States has been the driving force of civilization and freedom for over 200 years. There were others before that, but they are long gone. My worry is that our time has run its’ course also.
Our forefathers had their faults, but they created a constitution and bill if rights that is just short of miraculous. These have worked well for our country and we have prospered and advanced.
Now though, we have certain people and groups of people that believe they know better, or have a whole different direction for our country. That is one way that previous great cultures have deteriorated away. Like Khrushchev of Russia during the 1960s said, “we will bury you from within”. He did not manage it, but that is exactly what’s happening now.
We seem to have a two-party system. The problem is that both parties are pretty much useless except for furthering their own aims, goals, and power. Neither one can be counted on to do the right thing for the country. On top of that, we have so many other “interested” groups and individuals. They buy and bribe our politicians and any rules or regulations are easily avoided.
Our president seems to have no concept of what a democracy is supposed to be. He does what he wants and tells everyone that it is within his power. The legislators follow their own party and their only concern is getting more pork for their voters and reelected.
The judicial system is a joke. I don’t even know where to start there.
That is the system of checks and balances that is supposed to govern this country and protect the citizens.
But now things are different. We have to be so politically correct that even the most obvious things cannot be spoken about or considered, let alone acted upon.
They said we had over 12 million illegal aliens in this country. Illegal means illegal, there is no other way of looking at it. We have individual groups, churches, officials, and especially business that helps these illegal aliens. Do they have any legal fault? Evidently not. Otherwise they would be afraid of using them and the illegals would not be drawn to them. Not only that, many of these groups and companies get benefits from the government and/or IRS. So we are actually subsidizing these groups.
I know that many of these illegal aliens just want to work and help their families. I cannot fault them for that. I would probably have to do the same. However, that is not me, so I am on the other side of this argument. Our biggest problem is that we do not have any idea who is coming into this country, and what are their intensions?
The ones I do not want in MY country are the criminals, terrorists, drug dealers, and the ones that believe they are helping to “take over” parts of the United States. In fact, anyone coming here should be willing to and want to become a citizen of the United States and gives their allegiance to the U.S. If they cannot give us their allegiance and support, then they need to go somewhere else. I am referring to all immigrants, not just illegal aliens, but any one else that has even legally moved here to this country.
We have a great Border Patrol, but we have idiots that second guess them in their actions. Several of these patriots are in jail because they tried to protect the border. Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean were border patrol agents and that is a dangerous job.
What did they get for doing their job? U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton, made a deal with an illegal alien drug smuggler. He gave this guy amnesty in return for his testimony. Then the testimony of this drug smuggler was used to put these two agents in prison.
Sutton is a piece of crap and no better than his new buddy the drug smuggler.

History of a Psycho
I probably should not put this on here, but I cannot think of a real reason not to. These are memories of Viet Nam; an old soldier, the last one of his group.
Even as a kid, I was a soldier, it was all I ever wanted to be.
Its been 34 years since I left. Every day it is still a part of me. I still cant figure out how I am here and so many didn’t make it. That has always bothered me. The dreams are not so bad now, but they are still with me. When it is still and hot I can still smell it. I remember when I got off the plane there the first time. It smelled so bad. Rotted vegetation, shit, and blood. And it was so hot heat waves shimmered in the air and everything looked like a mirage.
I remember laying in the sand on a poncho my first night there. It was too hot to sleep inside.. I wondered what that was going across the sky as I looked at the stars. Soon to find out it was a rocket aimed at us that overshot. Crawling fast as I could for a bunker to hide in. Not even issued a weapon yet.
My first view of the dead. A medivac chopper landed there and they wanted us to help them unload. But there was not anyone alive in there. Just South Vietnamese soldiers in pieces. The blood poured off the deck of the chopper on us.
Not sure how I got picked for LRRPS. I was not a school trained ranger or special forces. They were running out of warm bodies though. Your choice of extra weapons was wide open. Trouble was that you had to carry all your gear yourself.
I loved the highlands. Much better than the jungles. It was closer to charley and the Chinese though. And the Monteyards were strange but decent. Just wanting to be left alone. Left alone from charley and from us really.
Sounds of bullets plinking into a chopper as you sit there praying that they miss. You don’t have anywhere to go, wanting off that chopper bad enough to jump. Then after you are dropped into a hot LZ, wondering why you ever got off the damn chopper in the first place and cant wait to hear them coming back for you.
There were semis hauling products up and down hwy 1, the name on the side of most of them said Sea Land Corp. We heard they were owned by Ladybird Johnson. After that, we started shooting at them too. Just because.
A real pretty country, except for the war. I remember how green it was. I never could figure out what kind of birds those were that swarmed the rice paddies. They were large and snow white…really pretty. They left quick when the shooting started.
On LRRPS, they would send us out for 1 to 5 days. Mostly, we would do recon and make maps and try to find the enemy without getting found. We were not supposed to start a fight, but most of the time that was not a choice. I found that I enjoyed the dark and I was good at what I did.
Weird things: We killed a lizard one day. It was as big as a Komodo dragon and smelled really bad. But an m16 took care of it. I have a picture somewhere of it. At night, when it was really dark and you were trying to sleep, lots of times an orangutan would wake you up. They sounded like a woman screaming a long ways off. At 2 in the morning, they were really scary sounding. Most of the time they left us alone. Sometimes they got too curious. I still don’t know if it was right or wrong, but when I think too hard on it, I don’t think we should have been there at all.
Sometimes we worked with the ROCK soldiers. They were from Korea and they were tough as nails. They used to call me muongzingie( I have no idea how to spell it, I just remember how it sounded). It meant monkey man. At the time I was covered in body hair and they did not have any.
It seemed like we never ran out of rice or roast water buffalo. For about 15 years afterwards, I would not eat rice or roast beef.
I turned 21 there. We had a party, got drunk, really drunk. I drank a bottle of ron rico rum. I woke up the next morning propped up against an outhouse. They said that I had fired flares and incendiaries into the village that night, but for some reason no one got hurt. They took my m16 and grenade launcher away from me. Good thing they did. At the time, it seemed normal and not a big deal. Years later though, it sounds like a shitty thing to do.
Back then, we kept our weapons with us all the time. We kept ammo all the time. When we went to bed, our weapons were with us. Talking to guys now days, I hear that they only get there weapons if the commander thinks they need them. Then they have to go get them issued and then go get ammo. They have to account for each missing round of ammo also.
Sounds weird to me.
The trips on recon soon wore you down. You were scared all the time, and jumpy, and would fire at the slightest provocation. But we just wanted to come home to the world.
When I went over there, I was real gung ho. I believed the crap about mom, apple pie, and fighting for our freedom. It did not take long to learn that was not quite true. Very soon, the only reason we had was to watch out for each other and try to get home, and to hell with the politicians, corporations, and governments. We didn’t give a shit about that.
Now, many years later, I am the poster boy for PTSD. That is what the doctor said anyway. They did come up with a drug that keeps most of the nightmares away. I can even go in walmart without getting all crazy. Don't laugh, that is a serious problem.
Oh well, crap happens. I hope you other soldiers adjust better.

Anti-American
America
When we think of anti-Americanism what most people are really thinking of is anti-united states.
The United States has been the driving force of civilization and freedom for over 200 years. There were others before that, but they are long gone. My worry is that our time has run its’ course also.
Our forefathers had their faults, but they created a constitution and bill if rights that is just short of miraculous. These have worked well for our country and we have prospered and advanced.
Now though, we have certain people and groups of people that believe they know better, or have a whole different direction for our country. That is one way that previous great cultures have deteriorated away. Like Khrushchev of Russia during the 1960s said, “we will bury you from within”. He did not manage it, but that is exactly what’s happening now.
We seem to have a two-party system. The problem is that both parties are pretty much useless except for furthering their own aims, goals, and power. Neither one can be counted on to do the right thing for the country. On top of that, we have so many other “interested” groups and individuals. They buy and bribe our politicians and any rules or regulations are easily avoided.
Our president seems to have no concept of what a democracy is supposed to be. He does what he wants and tells everyone that it is within his power. The legislators follow their own party and their only concern is getting more pork for their voters and reelected.
The judicial system is a joke. I don’t even know where to start there.
That is the system of checks and balances that is supposed to govern this country and protect the citizens.
But now things are different. We have to be so politically correct that even the most obvious things cannot be spoken about or considered, let alone acted upon.
They said we had over 12 million illegal aliens in those country. Illegal means illegal, there is no other way of looking at it. We have individual groups, churches, officials, and especially business that help these illegal aliens. Do they have any legal fault? Evidently not. Otherwise they would be afraid of using them and the illegals would not be drawn to them. Not only that, many of these groups and companies get benefits from the government and/or IRS. So we are actually subsidizing these groups.
I know that many of these illegal aliens are just wanting to work and help their families. I cannot fault them for that. I would probably have to do the same. However, that is not me, so I am on the other side of this argument. Our biggest problem is that we do not have any idea who is coming into this country, and what are their intensions?
The ones I do not want in MY country are the criminals, terrorists, drug dealers, and the ones that believe they are helping to “take over” parts of the United States. In fact, anyone coming here should be willing to and want o become an a citizen of the United States and gives their allegiance to the U.S. If they cannot give us their allegiance and support, then they need to go somewhere else. I am refereeing to all immigrants, not just illegal aliens, but any one else that has even legally moved here to this country.
We have a great Border Patrol, but we have idiots that second guess them in their actions. Several of these patriots are in jail because they tried to protect the border. Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean were border patrol agents and that is a dangerous job.
What did they get for doing their job? U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton, made a deal with an illegal alien drug smuggler. He gave this guy amnesty in return for his testimony. Then the testimony of this drug smuggler was used to put these two agents in prison. Sutton is a piece of crap and no better than his new buddy the drug smuggler.
Since bush is giving paroles and commuting sentences, I wrote the White House and suggestged he do the same for these two heros. I do not expect him to though.

I am a racist I guess
The muslims have fooled a lot of people. People believe that there are the fanatical dangerous muslims and then there are the peace-loving nice muslims that do not agree with all the violence.
Horse puckey! There are muslims, period. They are all a blight on the planet.
In their holy book the quran, I do not capitalize it, because I do not care about their opinions, it is very clear that we are the enemy. Since we are infidels, they have the moral and religious right/duty to lie and cheat to the rest of us. The muslim practice of Taqiyya as discussed in their holy book tells them it is ok.
They are also told to subjagate anyone that does not follow islam. They may kill us or convert us. That is their duty. It says so in their own book.
Over the centuries, the Christians have done a lot to be called into account for, but that was then. This is now.
I will admit that their are probably a lot of idiots that converted to islam without entirely knowing what they were doing. Someday though, these people will have to make a choice. Islam is NOT the reigion of peace. It is a religion of persecution, subjugation, abuse, and murder of innocents.
They say that mohamed (may he rot in hell) took a 9 year old wife. Even for that time it was just a little young.

Yesterday in London, they found two car bombs but were able to disarm them.
Here is an opprotunity for bush and his friends. It appears that whenever there is a threat, we loose more freedom and control of the American people is tightened. They scream that it is in our best interests and for protection of the country and most go along with it.
I think they will use this as an excuse to add some more controls.
Seems kind of funny though. We are the major target for the islamic fanatics. A bomb here in our country would be a dream come true for them. It has not happened yet. Why do we not have car bombs all over the place? So who is it leaving the bombs in London?

Earmarks
Why won't our politicians post their earmarks. We would like to see just exactly what they want to spend "pork" money on. Oh, thats' why, they do not want us to see. Most crooks do like for you to see what they are doing.
Almost our entire congress has been bought and paid for. They do not care about the country, they only care about their own positions and power. This cuts across party lines also and has been this way for a long time.
Pelosi said that things would change that the earmarks would be published beforehand. Then she did an about-face and says it is important that they be kept the way they are. Guess she made some extra money on that speech.

Celebrity Brains
One thing I cannot stand about celebrities is that they seem to think their opinion matters! They make millions of bucks, they entertain; but entertainment is all they are worth.
That cow rosie whats-her-name does not even entertain. She is loud and completely useless. Her "friend" trump, although obviously a very good business man, is another of the same ilk. He is a pompous jackass that likes to see himself in the news. Hmmmm, that would be interesting, what if rosie and trump got married!
The same with michael moore. His so called documentaries are interesting, but he is an entertainer and he uses these to try to convince the world his ideals are worth crap.
In fact, MOST of these people are not worth the time of writing this blog.

Global Court
I know it is an attitude that makes many countries and people angry, but who cares?
As far as I am concerned, they can have their court and do what they want. However, as an American, their court has no effect or jurisdiction upon this country or any of its' citizens.
To bow down to their ideas is to scrap our constitution. Anyone in this country that does that, commits treason. I will not tolerate this for an instant.
If we were to pull all the money that we give the rest of the world, we would be solvent, and the united nations and the global court would not be operating.
In three words, SCREW THEM ALL

My Labrogator
ON the lighter side, I had a yellow lab. She is 4 months old and a sweetie. Over the last 2 weeks she has developed a habit that is either funny or scary.
I live on a lake and labs love water. She has been swimming a lot lately and will submerge herself in the water with her eyes and nose out. When you walk by, she jumps out to get you. That is the funny part, so I called her a labrogator.
Day before yesterday she brought me a present deom the lake. It turned out to be a very large alligator gar. They can be a wicked fish and have very nasty teeth.
Yesterday, she brought me an even worse present. It was the largest Water Moccasin I have ever seen in my life. She killed it and brought it to the porch. Somehow, she managed not get get bitten.
She has me worried, the bigger she gets, will the presents get bigger also?
I would be happy with the neighbors newspaper.

This last year, I voted a strictly democratic ticket. I have never done anything like that in my life before. I am no democrat, but I was sick to death and hoping for a change. Sorry world! I guess I had a brain fart for a minute or two. They now control congress, but you know what, nothing is changed. The only difference I can see is who is being bought and paid for.
Pelosi is a joke, she has backtracked on her speech about pork and special interest moneys. The democratic politicians have all put their hands out for their share.
The rest of us still pay. Frankly, I do not know how to vote anymore.

It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam. The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history.It is the fanatics who march.It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave.It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor kill.It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque.It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals.The hard quantifiable fact is that the "peaceful majority" the "silent majority" is cowed and extraneous.Communist Russia comprised Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China 's huge population, it was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.The average Japanese individual prior to World War 2was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel and bayonet.And, who can forget Rwanda , which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were "peace loving"?History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany , they will awake one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. As for us who watch it all unfold; we must pay attention to the only group that counts; the fanatics who threaten our way of life. And do not forget that here in the United States, there are so many "silent" citizens.
